Music Generation Kildare’s Music Technology Workshop explores music production, composition, looping and post production. Our Culture Night workshop invites young musicians aged 12-18 years to explore an introductory DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) session facilitated by professional musicians on our musician educator panel. Young musicians will start from the very beginning, creating an original musical track using Garageband and digital instruments, working through the process of creating a completed track. These completed compositions will then be uploaded to a streaming platform on the night, and will form part of a collaborative album of original music, which will be published to Music Generation Kildare’s Bandcamp page after the workshop.
