Situated in the heart of Sallins village, on the main street between the railway and canal bridges, the Railway Inn is a family-owned traditional public house and off-licence.  It’s a drinks only pub, with a separate bar, a spacious lounge and a small private smoking area to the rear.  Serving a wide selection of beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, hot beverages and cold bar snacks, there’s also water bowls for your canine friends, so something to quench the thirst of every visitor. Children are welcome up to 7pm.

Showing all the major sporting fixtures across the big screens ensures that customers miss none of the latest rugby, soccer, football, golf and horse racing action.  There’s an open trad session every third Friday of the month, as well as other music nights throughout the year; just keep an eye on our social media for updates.

To visit the Railway Inn is to step into history, as records show that the premises has been trading commercially since at least 1837, while the front building dates back to before 1784.  Along with a picture gallery that details the pubs heritage, there are other decorative items within the premises that will be of interest to both local history and railway enthusiasts alike.
